In business company, you will need a strategy to achieve your business company.

Even if you have a small company, there will be a lot of strategy to be done.

Technology is the most important resources to get an information in business department.

Business driven technology to distinguish management information system (MIS) and 

information technology (IT)

Information Technology (IT) is a field concerned with the uses of technology in managing and processing information. It's also covering many field that deal with the use of electronic computers and computer software to convert, store , protect, process , transmit and retrieve information securely.

But, it can will be not useful unless the right people know how to use and manage it effectively. 

Not all people know how to manage the information system because it's need to be learn clearly. If you make it in a wrong way, your computer will become worse.

Meanwhile, Management Information System (MIS) is a business function just as marketing, finance, operations and human resources. It's a general name for the business function and academic discipline covering the application of people, technologies and procedures. Examples like collectively called information systems is to solve business problems.

There are a few of important elements of Management Information System (MIS). Firstly, the element is data. It's a raw facts that describe the characteristics of an event. Example date,item number, item description, quantity ordered, customers name , shipping details.

Secondly, an information. Data that concerted into a meaningful and useful context. It's an information from sales events that could include best-selling item or worst item. Thirdly, the business intelligence. The application and technologies that are used to gather, provide access to and analyse data and information to support decision-making efforts. This elements help companies to gain more comprehensive knowledge of the factors affecting their business.

In the information technology resources there are three, people, information and information technology. Information technology cultures is the way people use information and will reflect the importance that company leaders attribute to the use of information in achieving success or avoiding failure.

Technology can reduce costs of raw materials or cost of sending information to other department. It also can improving productivity example like with one machine you can produce about 100 pieces of paper or products. Lastly, it can generating growth. It can improve your income of company.

In my conclusion, nowadays if you don't use a technology, it will be harder to improve your business because people around the world had been use it for a long time period. Technology is one of the ways to connect with people in other country in an easy way.
